I have gotten several inquiries about dyeing the Jaquard fabric to a color that matches your net... and my answer is of course you can! These white 12" square swatches were gradually dyed using Rit Dyemore. I chose the Rit Dyemore, because of its good availability in the US. ( It might not be as readily available in other countries.)The key is finding a dye that works specifically with synthetic fibers. Since it is a 100% polyester fabric, it's always best to use a dye that works on polyester or synthetic fibers. Regular Rit, Procion Dyes, or Acid dyes do "color" the fabric slightly, but are meant for natural fibers and Nylon. If you do use those dyes, they will not maintain any depth of color over extended washings and wear.
The Rit Dye website has very good instructions and a mixing color chart so assist you in getting the right color. Dyemore requires a HOT water bath to work correctly, but the fabric handles the heat like a champ! I recommend sampling first before committing your yardage to the dyebath. For best results, make sure your fabric weight to dye ratio is correct, the water is the right temperature, your pan is a large non-aluminum pot for the fabric to move freely, and you stir the fabric consistently. I recommend that you DO NOT use the dyepot or any other tools for food consumption or cooking after they have been used for dyeing. WHEW......Sounds like a lot, but so worth it when the results are great! www.ritdye.com

So having problems picking your shipping? If its any consolation, so do I! I have discovered calculating shipping is an art form all to its own. It doesn't help that the weight of the items I offer go from the lightest ounce to the heaviest pound in one fell swoop! If you have multiple items in your cart, determining the correct amount can be confusing. Thank heavens all you have to do is email me! I can invoice you directly via PayPal for your purchases and calculate the most economical rate for you. The goods and prices are still the same, only with my help in getting the right shipping price for you!
If you have calculated your rate from the website--- fantastic! If I find the items can be shipped more economically to you, I will recalculate your shipping, notify you of the change, and refund the difference. My goal is not to overcharge you for shipping your items, but charge a fair price! And as always, I will ship quickly. Orders placed and paid for before NOON CST on weekdays, will go out the same day (barring natural disasters). I hope this helps! --Judy Here we go! The purpose of this blog is to tell you about the many products I will be offering as well as all things tutu. I also will give you some tips and tricks along the journey. Hopefully I can convince some fun "tutu-ists" to add their two cents worth as well! Keep watching for up dates....
