A 50% cotton 50% Acetate, 60" wide. Excellent for constructed ballet bodices and tutu basques, it has a lovely weight and hand. It can be pre-washed on a cold, gentle cycle. Hand washed after construction. The white bengaline takes a dye exceptionally well, leaving your color options wide open.
Just a quick note:
My supplier is discontinuing the cotton acetate bengaline. It is being replaced with a poly bengaline that is quite lovely, better priced, and available in LOTS of colors. Almost all of the bengaline I have in stock at the moment is the natural fiber, but will be replaced with the poly as my stock depletes. Colors that are now Poly are designated with an asterix.
