White 100% cotton Coutil, 60" wide. Sold by the yard. Machine wash, low dry. You can expect shrinkage, so prewashing is recommended. A flat rate USPS medium box or UPS is suggested for coutil purchases of more than 1 yard.

Cotton coutil is the best choice for underlining your ballet bodices and basques. It has a firm hand, but will soften over time.
​ It does not allow for much stretch, which makes it ideal for firm ballet bodices. It is also the best choice for any firm corset.
It takes a dye beautifully, so can be dyed to match your project.
