1/4" ( 7mm) boning is excellent for children, teen, or the less serious dancer's bodice. It has good flexibility without losing support. It can be used in bone casing or in seam channels. It is trimmed with scissors, then the edges are lightly sanded to smooth any burrs. It can be also be washed without any issues.
